Updated list of films I’ve recently seen:
-Time Bandits: Thumbs UP (right up my alley)
-Hugo: Thumbs WAY DOWN (the acting/cast were weird, kept falling asleep, needed a stronger story perhaps? not a fan of 3-D, it kept blurring)
-Tree of Life: Thumbs WAY DOWN (too “artsy” for my taste)
Looking forward to more this week. Happy movie watching! xo-Rodene

Rodene’s Recent Moooovie Must and Must Not Sees.
Just a couple recent 2011 released films I’ve caught during our travels and group outings. In the end, even if I didn’t really enjoy a film, I’ve still supported them buy purchasing a ticket or two and/or a plane ticket. xo-Rodene
Must Sees:
1. Source Code (obviously, but really my bf is a great director and its Jake’s best performance)
2. Moneyball (not a big fan of Brad Pitt, but Mr. Hoffman!!! Ace. Good story.)

You Should Rent:
1. Senna (documentary)
2. Just Go With It (was silly but had some hilarious parts, hilarious enough to quote every now and again…it was the perfect film to watch on a flight over 10 hours long)
3. Rango
4. Kung Fu Panda 2, but the first was better

You Could Do Without, (BUT I Watched Them Because They Were Recommended or Was With Friends/Flight:)
1. Bridesmaids (Chris O’Dowd, its nice to see him venturing into film)
2. Drive (it was alright, wish there was more action, not a fan of Mulligan)
3. Rum Diary (really wanted it to be good)
4. The Green Lantern, X Men, Captain America, etc. ALL of THEM -__- (eh…)
5. Cowboys and Aliens (bummer!)
6. Water For Elephants (I’m fascinated with the circus and this was the ONLY in flight film choice relative to that; unfortunately the acting wasn’t the best it maybe could’ve been? was that it? -__-)
7. The Rite (soooo bad and was looking forward to a good scare, DARN!)

Tried To Watch During a Flight, but Turned It Off:
1. The Green Hornet (lasted about 2 minutes)
2. The Beaver (I tried)
3. The Adjustment Bureau (may try again later in life…)
4. Red Riding Hood (tried twice and stopped about 3 minutes into it)
5. The Lincoln Lawyer (kept falling asleep)
6. Fast Five
7. Your Highness (stopped at about 5-10mins)
8. Mr. Popper’s Penguins (fell asleep)
9. Bad Teacher (off in 5 mins)

Absolutely HATED and Walked Out Of:
1. Hangover 2 (racist, amongst OTHER things)
